The UKU controller is not IP (Ingress Protection) certified and should not be placed outdoors unless it is housed in an IP-rated box. A while-in-use electrical outlet cover can protect the UKU controller from dust and moisture. You can find these types of boxes at Amazon, Home Depot, or any local hardware store.
The UKU glass controls (Glass Black, Glass Mirror, and Glass Gold) are specifically designed for indoor use. They are not suitable for outdoor temperatures and require installation within a wall embedding, which is typically impractical for outdoor saunas. Therefore, these controls are intended solely for indoor saunas.
Inside the sauna, it can be installed up to 800 mm above the floor. Do not install it higher than this.
