UKU Local sauna controller makes sauna heating easy and comfortable. You can connect it to the lights/ventilation and steamer functions of your sauna and regulate all of them from the remote control. To ensure a safe sauna experience, UKU is equipped with a door sensor, overheating protection and a child safety lock. UKU can be used with different manufacturers’ heaters.

A timer function allows you to select a starting time for heating. For example, if you would like the sauna to be hot when you arrive home from work, you could just set the timer before you leave home in the morning. This way, a hot sauna will await you when you return.

Safety features include overheating protection, a door sensor, and a child safety lock. Overheating protection stops the heating when the temperature in the sauna gets too high. This happens around 266 °F (130°C). Thanks to the door sensor, your remote control will not start heating if the sauna room door is open. The child safety lock prevents little children from activating the sauna heater.

The UKU controller is not IP (Ingress Protection) certified and should not be placed outdoors unless it is housed in an IP-rated box. A while-in-use electrical outlet cover can protect the UKU controller from dust and moisture. You can find these types of boxes at Amazon, Home Depot, or any local hardware store.
