Scandinavian-Inspired Backyard Sauna – Edina, Minnesota, USA

This custom backyard sauna in Edina, Minnesota, was created as a natural extension of a Scandinavian-inspired family home.

Designed by Cedar & Stone Sauna, the retreat combines a dark modern exterior with warm cedar interiors and a full-length window wall that opens the sauna to the surrounding garden.

The space was designed for both daily sauna rituals and quiet moments of relaxation, with room to stretch out and enjoy views of the backyard.

A HUUM HIVE electric sauna heater completes the space, bringing soft, abundant leil to the warm and minimalist interior.

The sauna also features a green roof and carefully selected materials that complement the architecture of the main house, creating a calm and cohesive backyard retreat.
